Q1: Can I reset the kWh reading on this meter?

A: It depends on the model. Models equipped with a front button feature a “Dual Energy” display. You can reset the Temporary Electricity by pressing and holding the “RESET” button for 3-5 seconds. However, for security and billing integrity, the Total Electricity cannot be reset. Models without a button cannot be reset.

Q2: What does the “Reverse Direction” indicator light mean?

A: If the reverse direction indicator lights up, it means the electrical load is connected in reverse (the current is flowing backward). The meter will still accurately measure this reverse energy, but you should check your L (Live) and N (Neutral) wiring connections.

Q3: Does this meter support remote data reading?

A: Yes, specific models within this series (such as Model 1 / DDS661 and Model 3 / DDS669) can be customized with an RS485 communication interface for remote reading and integration into smart management systems.

Q4: Is the meter suitable for outdoor use?
